I write and illustrate stories for children's books and graphic novels.  I love timeless stories that linger and grow tendrils into your heart. And I love crafting worlds of fantasy, folklore, myth, and magic.

I live in Berkeley, CA with my husband and children.  On our days off you'll find us digging holes in our garden and dreaming of diving into waves at the beach.

I am a member of SCBWI and was the runner-up for the Martha Weston Grant in 2016.  I am currently writing and illustrating picture books for young children, and a graphic novel for young adults.
